Pasifika festival
Every year, the Pacific islands are celebrated in the Western Springs park of Auckland. This event presents the culture, food and dances of islands of Fiji, Cook Islands, Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti, Niue, Tuvalu, Kiribati, and, of course, Aotearoa (New Zealand).
Pasifika Festival is mostly about islands from Polynesia except for Fiji and Vanuatu from Melanesia and Kiribati from Micronesia.
Each island was represented in various areas of the park.
Cook Islands and Samoa were much the biggest and best areas with a great atmosphere. Its made me want to go to these islands.
