Karekare & Piha

I visited Karekare and Piha beaches which are located to the west of Auckland. These two places are close to each other. My friends and I rented a car with Jucy and it approximately took one hour and half to drive from Auckland city centre to there.

Coromandel

Coromandel Peninsula is into the east of Auckland.  It took around 2 hours to go to the east coast of the peninsula. The trip was organised by a touristic agency called Mana Tours which made us visit two points: Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove.

Pasifika Festival

Every year, the Pacific islands are celebrated in the Western Springs park of Auckland. This event presents the culture, food and dances of islands of Fiji, Cook Islands, Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti, Niue, Tuvalu, Kiribati, and, of course, Aotearoa (New Zealand).

Orewa Beach & Shakespeare Regional Park

I went to places to the north of Auckland. I visited one the beach near Hibiscus Coast road called Orewa, and the regional park of Whangaparaoa, which is Shakespeare Regional Park.

Waiheke Island

Waiheke Island is one of the nearest island from Auckland. It takes about 30 minutes to go there by ferry. The island is in Hauraki Gulf. Its tourism attraction is mainly based on vineyards. For me, Waiheke is one of the must-see islands.

Auckland 'City of Sails'

Auckland is the biggest city of New Zealand. I am living, studying and spending the most of the time in Auckland.

I visited various places in this big city.
